This two-round competitive event challenges teams to demonstrate architectural design thinking, spatial planning, and physical modeling craftsmanship. Teams will design a compact, climate-responsive single-story residence organized around a central courtyard, beginning with a detailed 2D line sketch and bringing their approved layout to life as an open-top physical foam board study model.
